Coordinated services planned around each child and family.
Brilliant Minds is developing two connected parts of its planned service model: specialized clinical services for children, and parent support and counseling programs for families. Both are planned for the Raleigh center, with an online component planned where appropriate. Brilliant Minds is not yet open, and no service on this page is currently available.

Specialized clinical services
Four areas of clinical support, working as one plan.
These four areas are planned to be coordinated around each child's individual needs, rather than delivered as separate, disconnected services.
Child Psychology
Psychological support is planned to help children build emotional regulation, coping strategies, and social skills, while supporting families in understanding their child's behavior and development.
Examples of planned approaches
Cognitive behavioral therapy, play based approaches, and applied behavior analysis principles, including functional behavior assessment and individualized reinforcement, are examples of approaches that may inform this service. Specific methods will be selected individually, and not every approach will be appropriate for every child.
Speech and Language Support
Speech and language support is planned to address communication, language development, and social communication skills, helping children express themselves and connect with family, peers, and educators.
Examples of planned approaches
Structured language intervention, augmentative and alternative communication strategies, and social communication coaching are examples of approaches that may inform this service, selected according to each child's communication profile.
Specialized Educational Support
Planned support for learning, literacy, executive functioning, classroom participation, and individualized educational goals, built through collaboration between families, educators, and developmental professionals.
What this area may include
Individualized education planning, literacy and numeracy support, and consultation with teachers, adapted to each child's school setting. This area may also draw on neuropsychopedagogy, a field that connects how a child's brain learns with practical, individualized teaching strategies, explained in plain terms as part of any family's plan.
Pediatric Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy support is planned to help children build the motor, sensory, and daily living skills that support participation at home, at school, and in the community.
What this area may include
Sensory motor integration activities and functional skill building are examples of approaches that may inform this service. Occupational therapy generally requires the specialized equipment available at the Raleigh center, though home environment guidance may be offered online where appropriate.
How the services will remain connected.
Multidisciplinary coordination is planned to align goals, family communication, school collaboration, and progress across the professionals involved. Families should receive one connected direction rather than separate recommendations that they must organize alone.
Parent support & counseling
Four programs designed to support the family, not only the child.
Individual counseling is planned as emotional and psychological support delivered by appropriately licensed professionals. The remaining programs focus on practical parent education: communication, routines, and school collaboration. Both are planned in person, with an online component planned where appropriate.
Individual Counseling for Parents
One on one counseling is planned to help parents process the emotional experience of raising a child with developmental or inclusion needs, delivered by appropriately licensed professionals and subject to applicable state and professional requirements.
Structured Parent Training Programs
Structured, multi session programs are planned to teach practical strategies for communication, behavior, and daily routines, so families can apply consistent approaches at home.
Parent and Caregiver Support Groups
Group sessions are planned to connect families facing similar experiences, reducing isolation and creating space to share practical knowledge alongside guidance from the Brilliant Minds team.
Family and School Collaboration
Collaboration sessions are planned to help families and schools align on goals and strategies for a child, so support stays consistent between home and the classroom.

Planned for the Raleigh center
The Raleigh center is planned as the foundation of Brilliant Minds' clinical services, including occupational therapy and other services that require specialized equipment or in-person interaction.
Online component planned where appropriate
Selected clinical services and parent programs may be available online in the future. Future online availability will depend on the type of service, the client's location, professional licensing requirements, privacy requirements, and clinical appropriateness.

Not yet. Brilliant Minds is currently in development, and none of the services described on this page are available for scheduling. This page reflects the plan for the future center.
Which services are planned for the Raleigh center?
Child psychology, speech and language support, specialized educational support, and pediatric occupational therapy are all planned for the Raleigh center, alongside parent support and counseling programs.
Will any support be available online?
An online component is planned where appropriate. Availability will depend on the type of service, the client's location, professional licensing requirements, privacy requirements, and clinical appropriateness. Occupational therapy generally requires in-person delivery.
Does a child need a formal diagnosis?
No. Brilliant Minds is planning to support children based on their individual needs, not only a diagnosis. Families with or without a formal diagnosis are welcome to join the Interest List.
What happens after I join the Interest List?
